However, these techniques are more expensive and time-consuming due to the need for experienced surgeons and additional labor. For shaven FUE, we typically do not shave the entire occipital scalp in women, leaving the area around the donor site intact so you can style your hair as desired. However, it may take at least 7-8 months for the hair to grow to its previous length, depending on your original hair length.
